I posit that we human beings, have been around for s very long time. I like to call it, “since time out of mind”, by which I mean to say that no-one actually knows in measured increments, just how long we’ve been on this Earth.

My understanding is that we are Travelers, eternal souls whom navigate The All of this reality via the virtues found in the vessel suited to each individual which is commonly known as “the human body” and which is a part of “This Place”. We essentially, as eternal souls, are in this World although we are not “of this World”.

Spiritually we are best understood as beings of near celestial nature. We are as essentially stars in our Spiritual Wright as our Earthly bodies are wrought of stardust on the physical plane of this reality. The marriage of Spirit, Mind and Body allows us to visit and to interact with and within This Place, but we are not “from here”; We are from The Other Place.

We have been here a long time; we have been here From The Beginning or, at least, from within a moment of it. We are Eternal Souls; we have been here from The beginning; we shall be here until The End.

Civilization has risen and fallen untold numbers of times. I’m sure that no-one knows how many, although some Mystery Schools claim to possess histories of mankind stretching back scores of millennia. I’m am willing to entertain the idea that any Masonic Lodge may offer the initiate history of civilization dating some fifty-odd thousands of years. Even in that brief period civilizations must have been birthed, grown and died.

I’m not relating unsubstantiated hearsay in saying that at least one Mystery School claims to have this extended history in their possession. This carrot was dangled during my own interview for consideration as an initiate at my town’s little Blue Lodge. My understanding is that upon acceptance of my formal petition for acceptance and its subsequent ritual, that the library of the lodge would be open to me and that the records there are of more than fifty-seven thousand years of man and that, should I advance beyond the third degree, I would be allowed more knowledge.

Sometimes I almost regret that I did not submit myself for consideration, but even then I knew that fifty-seven thousand years is recent in relation to the scope of eternity and that I am an eternal soul. Each of us is an eternal soul and is a Traveller from and of The Other Place, although we are in This Place.
