Mind Control Made Easy:

This comedic spoof is based on a how-to video for forming a “Cult” of Mind Controlled Cult Members. The video although tongue-in-cheek comedy is actually spot-on accurate in describing all phases of Cult formation from conception to drinking the Kool-Aid. You can easily imagine the actors playing the roles here as Cult Leaders and Cult Members and being very effective in their nefarious mission, despite wearing T-shirts which read, “Cult Member”. The shirt might even be useful as it would pre-sort only the most willing to be indoctrinated. However, as shown early in the video, there are many active cults among us today. You just have to know how to see them.

Story of Stuff:

This video is a wonderful find and will soon be aggregated with other resources into a body of knowledge which I will process into a presentation of my own which is intended to describe that the dynamics of consumerism (usually disguised as “honest capitalism”) drives our society as a machine for turning the natural resources of our Earth into a trash dump or “land-fill”.

TV Mind Control

This is a very short video from T.J. Watson. It is a comical and largely unreferenced documentary on the subject of the subliminal influences built into television programming. We all know that it isn’t called “programming” jokingly. This is a good quick film to share up on social media: It doesn’t require thinking due to its lighthearted and actually amusing presentation. It is a short film which fits our modern attention spans and it is visually striking in a nostalgic way. Some old footage was put to good use here. Lastly I will point out that it is this type production which can raise public awareness without striking up cognitive dissonance in the viewer. “Smile when you say that, Partner” does have true application when one wishes to present an opposing or new viewpoint without arousing opposition in the receiving audience. You could have watched it in less than the time spent reading this description.
