Well That’s OldMeHereNow Ain’t It

This observation is sometimes hard for me to consider; The character depicted above seems far removed from the kid I remember being. I feel much the same as ever, physically speaking, but the boy-me wasn’t so disillusioned by the satisfaction of his wide-eyed curiosity. My young eyes watched the world emerge by the light of the Moon, Stars and lightening-bugs in early evening before dream time and then woke to see dewdrops lit by the Sun crowning the short lawn grass all the way to the pasture fences which bordered the yard. I knew when I saw the new dewy grass that it was about to have my footprints stamped across it. I remember being fascinated and drawn to the world as it entered my awareness. Now these jaded and worn old eyes squint through spectacles. I am however now able to see things even more distinctly through my Mind’s Eye. I now see things on a level which causes me long for the days when my eyes showed my mind things to know: These days my mind shows my eyes how to see.

  2. I do remember you well; you are not a serious blonde female wearing glasses. I do know what a thaumaturge is & love the two tarot cards. I used to have a whole set of nothing but ‚The Fool‘ from different tarot decks. As I recall, the fool represents innocence in seeking knowledge. I am still seeking knowledge but know enough I can‘t un-know to write a book. My memory is visual & nearly eidetic (I pick out order amid chaos or vice versa & they used eidetic people as mail censors in WW2. This was at a certain place that was part of Tejas. Santa Fe is holy faith & Texas is on the Llano Estacado side of the Sangre de Cristos….the other side is the Journado de Muerto. These refer to the land forms. I‘m about 300 or so feet upon the Balcones Escarpment, it looks more like stairs to me & of course is karst limestone. it‘s an ancient shoreline & we manage use of the two primary aquifers much better than was previously the case.Texas is magical &I was counseled not to lose my jester outfit. He said he nearly choked reading the closing of an email. I said Ifelt like Rasputin looking for a Romanov to console & advise. That feeling has diminished by some amount.

    1. Good to hear from you Brian. I have been off the field, so to speak, for some time but am staging a return from which I hope to be more effective than before. I had found myself overmatched by bad actors and needed to rest, recover and to revamp my wisdom. Check in from time to time. please. I wager that I could be a better person for interacting with you. So far, and even now, this is so.

  3. You are starting to look like my uncle with a beard and mustache. And your only a year and a half older than me.
